The Miss Teen Ontario East Pageant organization is honoured to rename our previous Ambassador's Award to the Lindsay Norton Memorial Award in memory of former 2nd Runner UP to Miss Ontario East and recipient of this prestigious award.

Lindsay was a wonderful Ontario East representative and someone who demonstrated the traits and positive attitude that are recognized by this award.

Delegates are scored on their enthusiasm, dedication, co-operation, participation and respect for their fellow delegates and towards all those individuals involved with the various aspects of the pageant weekend festivities and the production itself.

Lindsay portrayed all of the above mentioned traits and was overwhelmed when previously presented with this award. Lindsay was tragically taken from us, but we on the Miss Teen Ontario East pageant committee, want to honour her memory and her contribution and dedication to our organization through this annual award.

The Lindsay Norton Memorial Award will be incorporated as an annual award at our Pageant in memory of an amazing young lady who was taken from us much too soon.
